SAN FRANCISCO (June 14, 2013) – For the third consecutive year, Morrison & Foerster has received Gold Standard Certification from the Women In Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF).
WILEF emphasizes the firm leadership roles achieved by women equity partners. Law firms with 200 or more practicing lawyers in the United States are eligible for 2013 WILEF Gold Standard Certification if they successfully demonstrate that women represent a meaningful percentage of their equity partners, of their highest leadership positions, of their governance and compensation committees, and of their most highly compensated partners.
"We are honored to be counted among WILEF's Gold Standard Firms," said Larren M. Nashelsky, chair of Morrison & Foerster. "The certification demonstrates MoFo's long-standing dedication to maintaining a diverse workplace and we are proud to have exceeded the qualifying criteria every year since WILEF launched the program."
"I see this list as a testament to the fact that law firms, like Morrison & Foerster, take the Gold Standard Certification process very seriously," said Elizabeth Anne "Betiayn" Tursi, National Chair and Co-Founder of WILEF.
