Morrison & Foerster has joined the Law Firm Sustainability Network (LFSN), a newly incorporated nonprofit organization of law firms and legal departments committed to promoting environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility throughout the legal industry. By joining the network, Morrison & Foerster is supporting LFSN's in its mission to develop key performance indicators, share knowledge, develop best practice guidelines and recognize innovation regarding environmental sustainability.
In addition, Morrison & Foerster is one of eight firms on LFSN's leadership council, which acts as advisory council to the board providing input on strategy and initiatives, and Peter Elton, Morrison & Foerster's firmwide manager of operations, was elected to LFSN's board of directors.
