In the 2013 edition of International Asset Management (IAM) Patent 1000, Morrison & Foerster was recommended in patent litigation, licensing, and prosecution across the United States, Japan and the UK.
For the second year in a row, MoFo was the only international firm ranked “highly recommended” for litigation and licensing in Japan. The firm was “recommended” for patent litigation in the DC metro area and the United States; for licensing in California, the D.C. metro area, and the UK; and for prosecution in California. The firm also earned a gold medal in California litigation and bronze medals in D.C. metro area and New York litigation.
The firm had 18 individual recommendations, among them, one gold, two silver and two bronze medals.
The IAM Patent 1000 recognizes the top patent practitioners in key jurisdictions around the globe. Rankings were determined by interviews with more than 1000 lawyers, patent attorneys and in-house counsel.
