M&A Advisor has named Morrison & Foerster Law Firm of the Year and Tokyo partner Ken Siegel Legal Advisor of the Year in its recently announced 5th Annual International M&A Awards. Morrison & Foerster also won Technology, Media, Telecom Deal of the Year for representing Hitachi in its $4.8 billion sale of Hitachi Global Storage Technologies to Western Digital, and M&A Deal of the Year, in the $10 million to $50 million category, for representing Eclipse Therapeutics in its acquisition of Bionomics.
The International awards follow the December M&A Advisor Awards where Morrison & Foerster received three awards: Brandon Parris was named Legal Advisor of the Year, Raymond James Financial Inc.’s acquisition of Morgan Keegan won Financial Services Deal of the Year and Royal Bank of Canada’s first ever SEC-registered offering of covered bonds won Debt Financing of the Year. The firm was also named Law Firm of the Year in 2011 and 2010 by M&A Advisor U.S.
