Nicole Serfoss is a member of Morrison & Foerster’s Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White-Collar Defense Group. She focuses on representing issuers and related parties in federal and state securities litigation, including shareholder class actions, derivative actions and other matters involving director and officer liability. She has also represented companies and industry participants in government investigations and proceedings, including investigations involving whistleblower claims, accounting and disclosure issues, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Ms. Serfoss was named a Colorado Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2012.

Ms. Serfoss received her B.A. in history from UCLA, and graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Colorado School of Law. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable José D. L. Márquez of the Colorado Court of Appeals.

Represented Crocs, Inc. and certain of its current and former officers and directors in shareholder derivative lawsuits filed in Colorado. In February 2009, won dismissal of all derivative claims, with prejudice, on first motion to dismiss. No appeal was filed. (2009)
