Nicole Serfoss is a member of Morrison & Foerster's Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White-Collar Defense Group. She represents public companies and their officers and directors in securities class actions, derivative suits, and in other commercial litigation. She also represents companies and industry participants in internal investigations and SEC investigations, including those involving whistleblower claims, accounting and disclosure issues, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
Ms. Serfoss was named a Colorado Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2012.
Ms. Serfoss received her B.A. in History from UCLA, and graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Colorado School of Law. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Jose D.L. Marquez of the Colorado Court of Appeals.

- Defended Crocs, Inc., and certain of its officers and directors in shareholder class action and derivative litigation in Colorado federal and state courts.
- Defended investment advisor in derivative litigation in federal court.
- Represented audit committee of a large international public company under investigation for accounting and FCPA violations.
- Represented directors and officers of a public company in SEC investigation concerning insider trading.
- Represented company operating a national person-to-person lending platform in investigations conducted by the SEC and dozens of states.
