Pamela Pasti is Of Counsel in the Technology Transactions Group of Morrison & Foerster's San Francisco office. Ms. Pasti concentrates on representing companies in the area of intellectual property and technology transactions. Ms. Pasti's work includes the structuring and negotiation of joint venture license agreements, publishing agreements, software and multimedia licenses, distribution agreements, patent licensing, Internet-related agreements, joint development agreements, and a wide range of other technology transfer arrangements. She has extensive experience working with Japanese corporations in cross-border technology transactions and strategic alliances, and is proficient in business Japanese.
Ms. Pasti received her B.A. degree, with distinction in all subjects, from Cornell University in 1975. From 1977 to 1985 she worked in Tokyo in the publishing and advertising industries. Ms. Pasti co-owned and operated a small publishing services business in California from 1985 to 1990 and was a literary agent from 1990 to 1993.
She received her J.D. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1995 where she was co-editor-in-chief of the UCLA Pacific Basin Law Journal.
