Parker Kuhl is an associate in the firm’s Patent Group. Mr. Kuhl focuses his practice on patent prosecution, litigation support, and due diligence. He serves as counsel to companies and research institutes in the electronic, mechanical, and industrial industries. His known areas of technology include computer software and hardware, computer network systems, social media, medical devices, semiconductor devices, optical systems, and mechanical systems.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kuhl worked as an engineer for Lockheed Martin where he designed systems and lead projects relating to infrared and visible optics and detectors, image and signal processing, lasers, radar, naval combat systems, and missile defense. His experience includes complex system analysis, software simulation development, and integration and testing. He is also a co-inventor of U.S. Patent No. 7,629,920 titled Entropy Method for Range Alignment for Integration of Target Returns.

Mr. Kuhl earned his J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law where he received a Law & Technology Certificate and was submissions editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. He earned his M.S. in electrical engineering from Purdue University where he focused on electromagnetic fields and optics, image processing, lasers, and diffractive optics, and his B.S. in Physics from Miami University with a minor in mathematics.
