Bob Mattson is engaged in counseling both public and private companies on corporate finance, securities, business restructuring and regulatory compliance issues. He has been involved in over 100 public offerings of common stock, preferred stock, and debt.
Mr. Mattson regularly advises companies and their Boards of Directors on disclosure and compliance issues and corporate governance matters. He also advises special committees of Boards on conflict of interest and going private transactions and internal investigations. He is engaged in counseling both public and private companies on corporate finance, securities, technology licensing, business restructuring and regulatory compliance issues. Mr. Mattson also has an active mergers and acquisition practice involving both public and private companies, advising on takeover defense matters, spin-offs and other corporate restructurings and change of control transactions.
Mr. Mattson previously has acted as a Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee of The Business Law Section of the State Bar of California, the Chair of the Corporations, Banking and Business Law Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco, and the Chair of the Corporations Committee of The State Bar of California. Mr. Mattson was elected to Order of the Coif and was an Editor of the Law Review at Northwestern University School of Law.
