Robert Petraglia is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office.  He has a broad-based litigation practice, with an emphasis in consumer class actions in federal and state courts.  Mr. Petraglia is familiar with all stages of litigation.  He has drafted and argued motions, taken depositions, and conducted written discovery.  He also has experience with settlement negotiation and federal trial practice.  In addition, Mr. Petraglia maintains an active pro bono practice ranging from criminal defense to civil rights, and has received an Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award from the Volunteer Legal Services Program of the Bar Association of San Francisco.

Mr. Petraglia received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2009, where he served as a senior editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy and an editor of the Harvard Human Rights Journal.  He received his B.A., with High Honors, in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2005.   While in law school he worked as a Law Clerk in the Civil Division of the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of California.
