S. Knute Gregg is Of Counsel in the Corporate Department of Morrison & Foerster's Palo Alto office where he engages in a corporate and securities practice with special emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and equity and debt financings (including public and private financings). His practice focuses on the legal and business issues affecting growth companies both in the technology and non-technology sectors. Mr. Gregg also has experience in advising clients on fairness opinions, public company reporting obligations, and corporate governance matters.
Mr. Gregg received his J.D. in 1998 from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College, where he was on the Law Review and Articles Editor of the Journal of Small and Emerging Business Law.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Gregg was an associate in the San Francisco and Orange County offices of another international law firm and associate counsel at Harland Financial Solutions, a software company based in Portland, Oregon.
