Mr. Lunier is engaged in a complex litigation practice in both federal and state courts, with a focus on class action defense and commercial litigation matters. He has successfully defended companies against tort, statutory, and contract claims in a variety of contexts, ranging from consumer class actions involving false advertising to alleged violations of Federal telecommunications regulations including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). His clients span a range of industries, including retailers, manufacturers, franchisors, and insurers. He also has experience representing individuals in criminal matters and in DOJ, SEC, and Treasury Department investigations.

Mr. Lunier is active in the firm’s pro bono efforts. In 2010 he received the Courageous Advocacy award from the ACLU of Southern California, as well as honors from the United States House of Representatives and the California State Senate for his work on Guzman v. United States, a case challenging the unlawful deportation of a U.S. citizen. He is a regular recipient of the State Bar of California's Wiley W. Manuel Award for public service and a member of the San Francisco Bar Association’s Justice Gap Committee. He also supervises many of the firm’s pro bono eviction defense cases.

Mr. Lunier received his J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School in 2007, where he served as a managing editor of the George Washington International Law Review. While in law school he authored Just Say Yes: Drug Trafficking Treaties as a Model for an Anti-Spam Convention, 39 Geo. Was. Int’l L. Rev. 367 (2007).
