Samuel Song is a litigation associate in Morrison & Foerster's San Francisco office. He has a broad-based litigation practice, focusing primarily on securities litigation and criminal defense, including shareholder class actions, derivative actions, and government investigations. Mr. Song worked on the defense of Patricia Dunn, former chairperson of Hewlett-Packard, in a criminal case that was dismissed in 2007.
Mr. Song received his B.A. degree from Columbia University in 1999. He received his J.D. degree, cum laude , from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2006 and is a member of the Thurston Society. While at U.C. Hastings, he was a Senior Articles Editor for the Hastings Law Journal and served as an extern for Judge Martin J. Jenkins of the Northern District of California.
