Scott McPhee's practice covers a broad range of real estate and finance transactions, including first mortgage lending, mezzanine and other subordinate loans, syndicated credit facilities, loan repurchase and warehouse facilities, and construction lending. He represents various lenders, investors, mezzanine and equity investment funds, and property owners and developers in connection with the financing, acquisition, disposition, and development of various property types (including office, retail/commercial, single-family and multi-family developments, raw land, industrial facilities, hotels and resorts, golf courses, condominium projects, and mixed-use projects) and in connection with the work-out of troubled loans and joint ventures. He also regularly advises clients in connection with the formation of joint ventures, disposition and development agreements with municipalities, and the financeability of ground leases.

Mr. McPhee approaches each transaction with common sense and practicality, and provides valuable counsel gained from his experience in the real estate and finance industries to help clients achieve their goals and to overcome challenges with creative and sustainable solutions.

Mr. McPhee has spent more than 15 years involved in real estate ownership, development, and finance, including working as a project manager for a California-based real estate developer, vice president and senior counsel for a Fortune 200 commercial real estate finance company, and practicing attorney representing financial institutions, investors, and property owners and developers.

While earning his law degree at Loyola Law School, Mr. McPhee served as Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola Entertainment Law Journal.
