Seth Graham is an associate in the Technology Transactions Group of Morrison & Foerster’s Tokyo office.  His practice is concentrated on transactions and counseling involving intellectual property, with an emphasis on the structuring and negotiation of licensing agreements, technology transfers, joint development agreements and strategic alliances, as well as related distribution and commercialization activities and the management and enforcement of intellectual property portfolios.  He also advises clients in the context of adversarial litigation negotiations and settlements and in connection with mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and other corporate transactions.  He has particular experience counseling clients in the information technology, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and software industries, and has advised in a number of cross-border transactions.  Mr. Graham has provided pro bono legal services to several not-for-profit entities, visual artists and musicians in connection with establishing and enforcing their intellectual property rights.

Mr. Graham received his B.A. degree in Philosophy and Economics, Phi Beta Kappa and with high honors, from Dartmouth College in 1999, and later received an M.A. in Philosophy from the New School for Social Research in 2004.  He earned his J.D. degree from Stanford Law School in 2007, where he served as Managing Editor of the Stanford Law & Policy Review and as a teaching assistant to Prof. John H. Merryman (Art Law).
