Shane Shelley is a tax attorney in Morrison & Foerster's San Diego office. He has a comprehensive tax practice with a focus on federal income tax matters.
Mr. Shelley has substantial experience advising on the tax aspects of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, fund formations, venture capital investments, and international structuring. In addition, his expertise includes familiarity with a range of complex capital markets transactions and experience advising real estate investment trusts and regulated investment companies. He has significant experience in the taxation of settlements and judgments. Mr. Shelley also regularly advises corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and other business entities regarding their day-to-day domestic and international operations.
