Shiukay Hung is an associate in the Federal Tax Group. Mr. Hung has a broad-based transaction oriented U.S. federal income tax practice focused on structuring and negotiating the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, private equity and hedge fund formation, securities offerings, and financing transactions.
In 2012, Mr. Hung was seconded to a sovereign wealth fund where he was the sole in-house U.S. tax advisor relied on for planning and structuring U.S. investments and operations.
Mr. Hung earned his LL.M. with a concentration in tax from Harvard Law School, his LL.B. from the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law where he was a Wesbrook Scholar, and his B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia.
