Shouvik Biswas is an associate in the Patent Group of Morrison & Foerster's Los Angeles office.
Mr. Biswas earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
He has previously worked at Morrison & Foerster as a summer associate, and prior to law school, he worked as a Satellite Communications System Engineer at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems.
As an engineer, Mr. Biswas has developed a breadth of experience in an array of technologies, including Digital, RF, and Optical signal processing, antenna architectures and design, and analog devices.
As an attorney, Mr. Biswas has handled matters in all stages of prosecution including invention disclosures, new application drafting, office action responses, and patent reexaminations. He has served clients in numerous technology markets including consumer electronics, smart phones, print and scanner technology, electronic music devices, automotive devices and memory technologies including DDR SDRAM devices.
Mr. Biswas received his M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering and his B.S. in electrical engineering from Purdue University.
He speaks fluent Bengali and conversational Spanish and Hindi.
