Suhna Pierce is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster's New York office and a member of the firm's Global Privacy and Data Security Group. She advises clients on the collection, use, disclosure, and cross-border transfer of personal information about customers and employees, and she assists clients with developing solutions to comply with U.S. and international data protection laws. Ms. Pierce has experience advising clients on privacy issues related to Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance programs. She is a contributing author to Global Employee Privacy and Data Security Law, published by BNA Books.
Ms. Pierce received her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2009, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and her B.A. from Amherst College in 1993. Prior to her legal career, she worked in the Information Technology industry as a systems engineer, leading teams in a variety of projects such as infrastructure engineering, systems and data integration, and disaster recovery. Ms. Pierce is admitted to the Bar in New York.
