Svajune Sakalyte is an associate in the Brussels office of Morrison & Foerster LLP, and is a member of the firm's Litigation Department.
Ms. Sakalyte's practice extends to all aspects of antitrust law, with a particular focus on EC competition law. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster she worked as an associate in a Lithuanian law firm assisting clients in antitrust proceedings before the national competition authority and national courts. Ms. Sakalyte previously worked in the European Commission, DG Competition, dealing in particular with cartel investigations.
In 2008 Ms. Sakalyte graduated from Ghent University Law School, with an LL.M magna cum laude in European and Comparative Law. Ms. Sakalyte was awarded the Senate scholarship from Mykolas Romeris University, Faculty of Law, after she graduated first place in her year (LL.B, 2007)
Ms. Sakalyte is admitted to practice in Lithuania. She speaks English, French, Lithuanian and Russian.
