Takamitsu Fujiu is a partner in the Northern Virginia office of Morrison & Foerster. Prior to becoming an associate in 2007, Dr. Fujiu was a patent agent with the firm from December 2000. His practice includes patent prosecution, patent infringement and validity analysis, and litigation support. His areas of technical expertise are optics, optical materials, piezoelectric and dielectric materials, semiconductor devices and processing, scanning probe technologies, and carbon nanotube technologies. Dr. Fujiu is a Japanese native and communicates daily with Japanese clients in Japanese.
Dr. Takamitsu Fujiu worked for Nikon Corporation, first as an engineer and later as a manager of a research laboratory. While with Nikon, he spent three years at Penn State and two years at Nikon Research Corporation of America in Belmont, California.
