Taryn S. Rawson is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster's San Francisco office.
Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Rawson served as a law clerk to the Honorable Christopher F. Droney, U.S. District Judge in Hartford, Connecticut. During her clerkship, she handled dispositive motions in securities and employment cases, claim constructions in patent cases, and sentencing proceedings in criminal cases.
Ms. Rawson earned her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where she was articles editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and was a board member of the Harvard Defenders. During law school she interned at the Massachusetts Department of Education’s General Counsel’s Office. Before law school, Ms. Rawson taught elementary school in New York City. She graduated from Yale University, cum laude, with a B.A. in History, and from Pace University with a Masters in teaching.
Ms. Rawson speaks fluent Spanish.
