Drafting and negotiating complex license agreements requires an understanding of both the science underlying the licensed technology and the desired legal parameters of the license grant. David Wilson, a transactional IP attorney, and Catherine Polizzi, a patent prosecutor, frequently team up to represent venture capital-backed companies licensing, enabling technologies from universities and other corporations.
