The Recorder recently published an article titled, “For Summers, It's More Boot Camp, Less Beaujolais,” which covered the summer associate programs of many law firms including Morrison & Foerster.
This year MoFo hosted its first-ever summer associate training conference. The two-day San Francisco program included an interactive M&A exercise, a roundtable in which lawyers reflected on their first trials and a panel with general counsel. MoFo managing partner Craig Martin noted the program’s focus was to “maximize the value that our associates can provide to our clients on day 1.” The conference also featured an evening at Waterbar, where firm client Illuminate the Arts delivered a sunset speech on the Bay Bridge Light installment.
