Whitney McCollum is a senior associate in the Litigation Department of the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster. Ms. McCollum’s practice focuses on patent litigation matters for life sciences, Internet and high-tech companies in a variety of intellectual property matters. Ms. McCollum has also litigated trademark, copyright and trade secret matters in federal court for technology companies.
Ms. McCollum received her B.S. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis and her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of San Francisco where she was editor-in-chief of the USF Law Review, a member of the McAuliffe Honor Society, a Dean’s Scholarship Recipient and received awards for excellence in Intellectual Property Law, IP & Antitrust, Appellate Advocacy and Contracts I & II.
She is admitted to practice in the State of California and before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California. Ms. McCollum is also admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
