Bill Choe is a corporate and securities attorney who specializes in advising high-technology companies at early-through-exit stages of their growth cycle, as well as venture capital and private equity funds who focus on investing in such companies.  In such role, Mr. Choe advises issuers and investment funds with respect to equity and debt financings, and provides day-to-day counsel to the senior management and boards of directors of issuers concerning fiduciary obligations, corporate governance, options and restricted stock, employment-related matters, intellectual property protection, commercial agreements and disputes, pre-exit strategies and planning, and other business issues.

Additionally, Mr. Choe has deep expertise in domestic and cross-border technology mergers and acquisitions (including stock and asset sales and purchases, mergers, tender offers, spin-ins, and divisional sales), having led significant buy and sell-side representations of public and private technology companies with deal sizes ranging from a few million dollars to billions of dollars, such as: Silicon Spice, Inc. in its $1.2 billion acquisition by Broadcom Corporation; DataPath Systems, Inc. in its $535 million acquisition by LSI Logic, Inc.; Agile Software in its $2.5 billion proposed acquisition by Ariba, Inc.; Emagic Soft und Hardware GmbH and Emagic USA, Inc. in their acquisition by Apple Computer, Inc.; Intraspect Software, Inc. in its acquisition by Vignette Corporation; Paymo Inc. in its acquisition by Boku, Inc.; Dimension Data in its acquisitions of OpSource, Inc. and Xigo, LLC; Mobile Money Ventures, LLC in its acquisition by Intuit, Inc.; Mykonos Software, Inc. in its acquisition by Juniper Networks, Inc.; Link_A_Media Devices Corporation in its $260 million acquisition by SK Hynix, Inc.; and Intel Corporation in several recent acquisitions of technology companies.

Mr. Choe is recognized as a leading business lawyer in Chambers USA 2009 and 2010 and Legal 500 US 2012.
