Yonatan E. Braude is an attorney in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office.

Mr. Braude earned his J.D. in 2007 from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), where he received the Thelen Marrin Award for graduating first in his class.

At Berkeley, he was also elected to the Order of the Coif and served on the California Law Review. He earned Jurisprudence Awards in Federal Courts, Evidence, Civil Procedure I, Civil Procedure II, Torts, and Introduction to Intellectual Property, as well as a Prosser Prize in Income Tax I and a Moot Court Advocacy Award for brief writing and oral argument.  He served as a judicial extern to the Honorable John T. Noonan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco. He also worked as a summer law intern at the Civil Division, Appellate Staff of the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.  Before law school, Mr. Braude worked as a program manager at a non-profit educational group.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Braude was a law clerk to the Honorable Stephen F. Williams of the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
