The Morrison & Foerster Foundation is one of the oldest law firm-affiliated charitable foundations in the United States. In our recently released
annual report, we proudly celebrate 25 years of giving back to the communities in which Morrison & Foerster personnel live and work. Our mission, as it was at the time of our founding in 1986, remains purely charitable.
The Foundation is funded chiefly by our partners, with additional support from our professional staff and others. Last year, we made charitable contributions of approximately $3.4 million; over our 25-year history, we have donated $33 million, primarily to local nonprofit organizations.
A lasting commitment to purposeful giving is one of the hallmarks of Morrison & Foerster. The Foundation's board of directors is especially grateful to the firm's partners and employees for their years of support. Together, we are committed to making a real difference, particularly for our communities’ disadvantaged children and low-income individuals seeking meaningful access to justice.
