The Morrison & Foerster Foundation offers a number of contribution matching programs to employees and partners of Morrison & Foerster. The purpose of the matching gifts programs is to encourage private charitable giving, provide additional leverage to gifts made by the firm’s personnel and support the charitable goals of the firm’s individual donors.

We match eligible donations by the firm’s personnel to a wide variety of nonprofits, as well as gifts by the firm’s attorneys to their law schools. We often offer additional matching gift programs to support certain causes considered important by a particular office’s personnel, including some disaster relief efforts. Gifts that meet the Foundation’s giving guidelines are matched, up to certain annual limits, at the donor’s request.
