wide variety of federal, state, county and local agencies are
represented at so-called FEMA “one-stop shop” Local Assistance
Centers and Disaster Recovery Centers. Representatives from major
insurance companies, utilities, volunteer legal service providers,
and other various volunteer organizations may be present.
As of November 13, 2003, the following Local Assistance Centers
were open and operational from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through
Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (closed Sunday):
