Morgan Adessa is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster’s New York office. Her practice is focused on intellectual property and commercial litigation.

Ms. Adessa received her J.D. from the University of San Diego in 2004, graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. She was a member of the San Diego Law Review and received awards for Best Advocate and Outstanding Contributor to the California Regulatory Law Reporter.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Adessa clerked for the Honorable Napoleon A. Jones, Jr. in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.

Ms. Adessa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Stanford University in 1997, and later worked as a research associate at the UCSD Center for Molecular Genetics. In 2000, Ms. Adessa completed a residency in health care finance and management at Johns Hopkins Hospital and received a Master’s degree in Finance & Management from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
