Mr. Cole, a partner in the Washington, D.C., office, is the head of the Debt Trading Group. He represents commercial banks, investment banks, asset managers, broker-dealers, hedge funds, and other entities in lending, loan trading, CDO transactions, workouts, restructurings, and other matters.

Mr. Cole has extensive experience in loan trading matters and related transactions, including CDOs and loan portfolio transfers. Prior to attending law school he was Manager of Business Planning and a Financial Analyst at CSX Transportation.

Mr. Cole earned his B.S. in finance in 1985 from Lehigh University and his J.D., cum laude, in 1993 from American University.
