Mara Goldsmith is an associate in the Capital Markets Group in Morrison & Foerster’s New York Office. Ms. Goldsmith’s practice focuses on securities and other corporate transactions for both American and foreign companies. She represents issuers, investment banks/financial intermediaries and investors in financing transactions, including public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities. Ms. Goldsmith also works with financial institution clients, concentrating on assisting them in designing and structuring new products. Ms. Goldsmith has worked with U.S. issuers and foreign private issuers in their securities offerings in the United States, with financial institutions in connection with domestic and international offerings of debt securities, and has advised clients in connection with medium-term note programs.

She received her B.A. degree from the College of William and Mary in 1997 and her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2000.

Ms. Goldsmith is admitted to practice law in New York.
