Katherine D. Lee is an associate in the San Francisco office. She received a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 1998. Ms. Lee also received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1992 and 1995. She is admitted to practice in California, Washington state, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Ms. Lee’s practice includes patent prosecution, patent analysis, and intellectual property counseling and strategic planning. She also provides support and analysis for clients involved in patent litigation, licensing, due diligence, and other related transactions. She has experience in a wide range of technology areas, including optics, wireless communications, medical devices, computer software, electronic-commerce systems, computer architecture, network systems, semiconductor devices and fabrication, electronic circuits, and imaging systems.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster’s Patent Group, she was an associate at Perkins Coie in Seattle, Washington, and Foley & Lardner in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
