Brian M. Kramer is an associate in Morrison & Foerster’s San Diego office, where his practice focuses primarily on patent litigation.

Brian received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Valparaiso University in 1997 and his J.D., magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2000. In law school, Brian served as an Associate Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review and as the first Managing Editor of the University of Illinois Journal of Law, Technology & Policy. Before joining the firm in 2003, Brian served as a law clerk to both Judge Richard Linn of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C., and Chief Judge Sue L. Robinson of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

Brian is a member of the California bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Federal Circuit Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
