Mr. Makris is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Morrison & Foerster LLP, where he is a member of the Debt Trading Group. He currently represents investment banks, commercial banks, hedge funds, and other entities in secondary market loan transactions.

Mr. Makris has experience in the review and analysis of credit documentation relating to par loans, particularly in connection with CDO transactions.

Mr. Makris received his B.S. in 2001 from the University of Virginia and his J.D. in 2006 from the George Mason University School of Law, where he served as Notes Editor for the George Mason Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board.
