Jae Hong Lee is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster's San Diego office. He has worked on a broad range of matters, including product liability litigation, patent litigation, patent prosecution, patent interference, and securities litigation.

Dr. Lee received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2005 where he was an Annual Review Advisor (2004-2005), Article Editor (2003-2004), and Member (2002-2003) for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. He was a member of the Ecology Law Quarterly (2002) and Communications Director for the Health and Biotechnology Law Society (2003-2004), where he was also a member from 2002-2003. Dr. Lee received the Grace C. Barbee Fellowship in Law and Medicine (2003-2004) and was a Fellow at the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology (2004-2005).

Dr. Lee received his M.P.H. in 2001 from the Harvard School of Public Health. He received his M.D. in 1993 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Lee received an American Heart Association Medical Student Research Fellowship, a National Institute of Mental Health/Measey Foundation Training Grant in Behavioral Neuroscience, and membership in the Society of Penn Medical Scholars. Dr. Lee received his B.A. in biophysics in 1987 from The Johns Hopkins University where he graduated with departmental honors and recognition on the Dean’s List. He was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society and was a Pennwalt Foundation Scholar.

Dr. Lee worked as a summer associate at Morrison & Foerster in 2004. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, he was a Regulatory Research Consultant at Genentech, Inc. (2003-2005). Dr. Lee was the Senior Medical Policy Analyst for the National Center for Policy Research for Women & Families (now the National Research Center for Women & Families) (2001-2002) and a Clinical Research Fellow at the UCLA Health Sciences Center and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center (1995-2000). From 1993-1994, Dr. Lee completed a surgical internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Dr. Lee has a California State medical license and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners (1994).
