Nicole Griffin is a member of the Investment Management Practice Group in the Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on the representation of investment companies, investment advisers, distributors, and other businesses in securities and securities-related matters. Investment company clients include open-end and closed-end companies, multi-class funds, and master-feeder funds. Ms. Griffin has experience with SEC regulatory, registration, and compliance matters, as well as other matters arising under the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Company Act of 1940, and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.

Ms. Griffin received her J.D. degree from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in 2001, where she was a member of the Catholic University Law Review , her M.B.A. degree from Marymount University in 1996, and her B.B.A. degree from the University of Texas-Austin in 1991. She became associated with the Washington, D.C. office of Morrison & Foerster LLP in 2004. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Griffin was an associate in a Washington, D.C. law firm where she advised investment company and insurance clients on issues arising under federal and state laws and regulations.
