Michael Gifford is a litigation associate in Morrison & Foerster’s New York office. He represents domestic and international clients in all aspects of a complex commercial litigation practice, including substantive areas of general contract and tort law, securities laws and intellectual property laws.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Gifford was an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York, where he represented Fortune 500 companies in commercial disputes and regulatory investigations in federal and state court actions.

Mr. Gifford received his undergraduate degree from Queen's University. He received his LL.B. from the University of British Columbia.

Mr. Gifford is admitted to the New York State Bar, the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. .
