La Tanya James is an associate in the Northern Virginia office of Morrison & Foerster. Ms. James counsels clients and litigates matters relating to employee terminations, layoffs and discipline, discrimination, harassment, trade secret protection, and retaliation. Ms. James drafts and advises clients on employee handbooks, severance agreements, employment agreements, and noncompetition, nonsolicitation and confidentiality agreements.

Ms. James received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her A.B. from Harvard College. She is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
