Craigh Leonard is Senior Of Counsel in the New York office of Morrison & Foerster, where he is a member of the Corporate Group. Mr. Leonard has expertise in a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and private placements, senior and subordinated debt financings, senior management compensation arrangements, private equity and venture capital investments, and corporate restructurings. He has an extensive deal experience on behalf of top consumer brands and over 25 years of experience handling all manner of corporate finance engagements, including frequent international ventures.
Especially noteworthy is the number of deals Mr. Leonard has done for leading consumer brands, including many in the food industry. For MBW Foods, he advised on the acquisition of the Duncan Hines baking business from Procter & Gamble for $445 million; he also represented MBW in its purchase of Log Cabin syrup from Kraft Foods for $220 million, as well as in the acquisition of Mrs. Butterworth's brand syrup from Unilever for $116 million.
