Christopher Forrester represents emerging growth and established companies in general corporate matters, with an emphasis on capital markets transactions and ongoing 1934 Act compliance matters. Mr. Forrester has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions involving both public and private companies and in strategic partnering transactions, including joint ventures and licensing arrangements.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, he was a partner in the San Diego office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Mr. Forrester began his corporate practice with Arent Fox Kintner Plotkin & Kahn in Washington, D.C. He is a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Securities Regulation.
Mr. Forrester was named to the 2007 Top 40 Under 40 persons in finance by Investment Dealers Digest in December 2007. In 2008, Mr. Forrester authored the inaugural edition of Fiduciary Duties and Other Responsibilities of Corporate Directors and Officers (R.R. Donnelley Capital Markets – publisher).
