Aaron Russell is an associate in the Tax Department of the New York office of Morrison & Foerster LLP.

Prior to and while attending law school, Mr. Russell was an executive director with a public policy foundation which sponsored monthly debates, and managed technology for a boutique asset management fund.

Mr. Russell received his B.A. in 1995, in economics and political science, summa cum laude, from The State University of New York at Albany, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In 1999, he received an M.A. in economics from New York University, and in 2004, he earned an M.S. in computer information systems from Baruch College. He received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2007.

Mr. Russell is admitted to practice in New York.
