Matthew Ahn is an associate in the litigation department of Morrison & Foerster's San Francisco office. He has extensive experience representing both international and domestic clients in intellectual property matters, and focuses his practice on patent infringement dispute resolution. Drawing from his passion for cutting-edge technology, Mr. Ahn has represented both patent holders and infringement defendants in a variety of technical disciplines, including consumer electronics, communications networks, computer software, and semiconductor devices.
In his international practice, Mr. Ahn has represented clients in arbitration proceedings around the globe, and strives to combine his legal knowledge with his understanding of the local culture of both his clients and the forum. Having lived in countries in both Europe, where he was a Fulbright Scholar, and Asia, where he worked and earned an LL.M. in Japanese comparative law, Mr. Ahn brings his cross-border experiences and proficiency in multiple languages to bear on attaining successful results for his clients.
