Karen H. Healer is an associate in the Corporate Department at the Palo Alto office of Morrison & Foerster, LLP.  Her practice focuses on private equity and venture capital funds, including fund formation, fund structuring, fund operation, mergers and acquisitions, fund taxation, and corporate governance. 

Ms. Healer earned her J.D. from Yale Law School in 2005 where she served as Managing Editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation and Senior Editor of the Yale Journal on International Law.  She graduated with her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Wellesley College in 2002 in History and Economics.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster in 2008, Ms. Healer performed fund services and estate planning work at a Silicon Valley law firm and acted as a wealth planning associate at a Palo Alto financial advisory firm. 

Ms. Healer is admitted to the bar in the states of Massachusetts and California.
