Dr. Yeh is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Morrison & Foerster LLP. Her practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of United States and international patent applications in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Her practice also includes strategic patent counseling, freedom-to-operate evaluations, and due diligence review.
Dr. Yeh holds a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley and a Ph.D. from Georgetown University. Her doctoral research at Georgetown involved the study of ganglionic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. While at Georgetown, Dr. Yeh was a recipient of a NIH predoctoral Fellowship.
Dr. Yeh was also a post-doctoral fellow at the University of California at San Francisco, where she studied mechanisms of pain transduction in sensory neurons. More specifically, she investigated the roles of nociceptors and inflammatory mediators in different neuropathic and inflammatory pain models.
Dr. Yeh received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law. During law school, she was a lead content editor for the Santa Clara Computer and High Technology Law Journal. She also served as an extern to the Honorable Jeremy Fogel in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. She was the recipient of SCU High Tech Law Certificate and CALI Awards in Pleading and Civil Procedure as well as in Technology Licensing.
Dr. Yeh is a member of the State Bar of California and the District of Columbia Bar, and is also admitted to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
