Ms. Stevens' practices focuses on financial transactions, including secured transactions, trade finance and public finance, for industries ranging from agribusiness to the film industry, financial institutions, healthcare, investment funds and the manufacturing industry. She also has experience in the areas of financial product development, securitization, derivatives and bank products generally. Prior to joining the firm in 1987, Ms. Stevens was Assistant General Counsel for Bank of America responsible for wholesale debt financings.

Ms. Stevens writes and lectures on commercial law topics and has served as the chair of the California Uniform Commercial Code Committee, vice-chair of the American Bar Association Secured Transactions Subcommittee, member of the Board of Governors of the Financial Lawyers Conference, and Vice Chair of California Business Law Section Executive Committee.

• Represented Administrative Agent on $5 billion commercial paper back lines of credit for financial services company.
• Represented Administrative Agent on $250 million line of credit for sporting goods company to finance acquisitions, guaranteed and secured by interests in offshore subsidiaries.
• Represented Administrative Agent on secured $106 million facility backing, on a revolving basis, multiple tax-exempt private activity bond issues.
