Jerome H. Craig practices in business litigation at the state and appellate levels, concentrating on complex financial cases and cases involving fiduciary obligations of directors, attorneys and others. He has represented individuals and business entities in a variety of disputes, reflecting a range of industries and legal issues. For example, Mr. Craig has represented corporate directors and others in the defense of derivative and class action claims arising out of alleged securities law violations and commercial disputes, including the representation of special litigation committees of Boards of Directors. His experience providing fiduciary counsel has included the representation of the largest private trust in Hawaii, lawyers and clients who have entered into business transactions and beneficiaries in contested matters.

Mr. Craig was instrumental in the development of the private judging ("rent-a-judge") system in California, representing a litigant in the first case tried in California using a private judge.

Mr. Craig is a former director and president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

Mr. Craig joined the firm of Beardsley, Hufstedler & Kemble, later known as Hufstedler & Kaus, in 1967, becoming a partner in 1973, where he practiced until he joined Morrison & Foerster as a partner in 1995. In 2002, he became senior counsel to the firm.
