Mr. Press is a member of the Litigation Department, resident in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He served as Chair of Morrison & Foerster’s Los Angeles office Litigation Department from 2004 to 2007. He is engaged in an extremely broad business litigation practice. His experience includes intellectual property, professional liability, airport-airline rates and charges, real estate, securities and power plant litigation. He has represented technology companies, governmental entities, manufacturers, professional service providers, financial institutions and real estate lenders in complex litigation before state and federal district and appellate courts, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, federal agencies and in arbitration and mediation proceedings.

Mr. Press has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement cases and in matters involving copyrights, trademarks, internet domain names, theft of trade secrets, and unfair competition. He has defended an accounting firm and a major law firm in professional malpractice cases. Mr. Press has represented large hub airports and Airports Council International - North America in matters involving airline rates and charges. He has also litigated and advised clients regarding real property transactions, leases, easements, and receiverships.
