Joshua Gordon is a senior associate in the Palo Alto office of Morrison & Foerster. Josh has a diverse practice with a focus on employment, constitutional law, and immigration matters. Josh provides employment counseling to small start-up companies, governmental entities, and large Fortune 500 companies on a variety of issues, including wage and hour law, wrongful discharge, employment discrimination, and disability, medical and family leaves of absence. Josh has also represented employers involving claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and violations of wage and hour law. Josh has litigated successfully at both trial court and appellate levels, and is a member of the State Bar of California.

Josh received a B.A. degree in Liberal Arts from Wesleyan University in 1987. After working as a counselor with autistic children for eight years, Josh returned to law school and received his J.D., summa cum laude , from Santa Clara University in 1998. Prior to joining the firm, Josh served as a law clerk to Judge Susan Y. Illston, United States District Court, Northern District of California. Josh currently serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Pacifica, where he resides.
