Ms. Linden is an environmental analyst with Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco, California. She received her B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Ms. Linden has been employed at law firms as a legal assistant focusing on environmental matters and as an environmental analyst since 1982. She joined Morrison & Foerster in March 1990.
Ms. Linden has experience in all aspects of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations, with an emphasis on the areas of land use, water quality and hazardous waste. She assists a wide range of clients in environmental compliance matters and provides technical expertise on environmental matters in corporate and commercial transactions, including real estate, project finance and alternate energy facility construction.
Ms. Linden participates in environmental due diligence reviews for commercial transactions, including review of consulting reports and analysis of regulatory compliance issues, and has assisted clients in obtaining necessary permits for ongoing industrial operations, including National Pollution Discharge Elimination System Permits, Solid Waste Permits, and Hazardous Waste Facility Permits. She also assists clients in performing environmental audits and in selecting and supervising the work of consultants.
Ms. Linden has performed environmental audits of energy and other industrial facilities, and has assisted clients in the development of environmental compliance programs. She has worked on numerous transportation projects, including approvals of highway interchanges and airport expansion projects. She also has assisted in the investigation of railroad accidents, as well as reviewing the environmental condition of rail yards.
